What drew you to work at SoCal Food Allergy?
SoCal Food Allergy is a place unlike any other – a place that is at the forefront of advancing medicine, a place of hope, and a place where your child gets to eat chocolate and bounce around in an exercise room for their appointment. I am drawn to this institution’s constant drive to do better, and I am grateful to be part of this team that helps change lives.
What is your most memorable SoCal Food Allergy moment?
My most memorable experience was with a patient who was going to have a peanut introduction. Peanut is his most anaphylactic food, and I could tell he was really nervous initially, but after he had the first sip of the peanut vial and realized he was okay, he suddenly had the biggest smile on his face, and asked his mom to take a “happy peanut picture” of him.
