Dr. Farr is a native of the South Bay and has lived and worked in Long Beach since 2015. He completed his medical education at Ross University School of Medicine and went on to complete his Family Medicine residency training at UC Riverside. During this time, he participated in research projects at UC Irvine and Riverside University Health System Medical Center. These projects included research on the care of newborns in the hospital setting. Dr. Farr has spent years working in the primary care setting caring for patients with a wide range of ages and medical conditions. He is a proponent of empathetic communication and cultural competency. He believes that a minute of a physician’s time can make a world of difference to a patient and their healthcare. Dr. Farr developed an interest in the care of patients with food allergies while seeing the difficulties unique to this population. He is an avid SCUBA diver and enjoys playing the guitar in his spare time.
