What drew you to work at SoCal Food Allergy?
I’ve always been interested in Allergy and Immunology and after learning about the rewarding and innovative work at TPIRC I knew this would be an exciting new challenge for my nursing career. Over the last 8 years at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, I have cared for multiple anaphylactic patients and witnessed the struggles families face to find not only normalcy but food freedom for their children.
What is your most memorable SoCal Food Allergy moment?
My most memorable moment was when I was watching a patient challenge salmon sandwiched in between oreo cookies!
